  • Manga and novels for young adults.
  • Classics by Mark Twain, Charles Dickens, Robert Louis Stevenson, Louisa May Alcott and others.
  • Horse, dog, and other animal books.
  • Fiction—general, mystery, science fiction, horror.
  • Cookbooks, gardening, psychology, self-help, 12-step and recovery, sociology, mythology, science and philosophy.
  • Bibles, devotionals, inspiration, and Christian fiction.

Trade Credit

We accept good, used copies of books for trade credit that can be used to purchase other used books. Books should be clean and intact. We do not accept romance novels, Reader’s Digest condensed books, or magazines.

The average price per book in trade credit is $1, but that may vary based on condition, ability to re-sell, and number of identical books already in our possession.

We happily accept donation of books and work very hard to find homes for books we cannot use; we donate to local libraries, the jail, and the hospital.

We also purchase collections from individuals. We are happy to talk with you about your collection.

Discounts

We offer discounts to homeschool families, teachers, and other booksellers.

Come in and see what kind of deal you can get.

Local musician, Ben Longwell has released his first CD, “One Life”.

Longwell performs all the songs and plays all the instruments
on “One Life.” Most of the songs, both the music and the lyrics,
were written and produced by Longwell. With a western/folk
style, this music encourages the listener to slow down, rest a bit,
and reflect.

“In these days of intensity and stress, it is important to
stop and express gratefulness to God and those He has
put in our lives,” says Longwell of his work, “and we
need to know what we believe and why.”

Longwell is a Craig native; his mother home schooled him here along with his 11 siblings.
He worked with his brother Jon on local ranches, and traveled to China and Israel on
mission trips. On one of those China trips he met his wife, Natalie, a missionary from
New Zealand. They were married in 2008 and now make their home in Moffat County.
A cowboy at heart, Longwell continued his education with horses and now trains horses
full time with Joe Willingham.

Copies of the CD are available in the store.

Ben Longwell can be contacted at Vaquero.91@hotmail.com.

The love of learning, the sequestered nook, and
all the sweet serenity of books.
